APPROVAL TO RE-AWARD BID #6137 FOR CONCRETE SERVICES
Description
The Facilities Services Department requests permission to re-award the Concrete Services bid to C-Squared Certified General Contractor, Gordon J. Hornikel Concrete, Inc., and Superior Concrete Construction. The bid was originally awarded on April 4, 2006, to L&L Site Services, LLC, Gordon J. Hornikel Concrete, Inc., and Superior Concrete Construction. The award to L&L Site Services, LLC, is being terminated for failure to meet the bid specifications regarding insurance requirements and communication.
Recommendation
That the bid of L&L Site Services, LLC, to provide 'Concrete Services' be terminated and that the bid be re-awarded to C-Squared Certified General Contractor, Gordon J. Hornikel Concrete, Inc., and Superior Concrete Construction.
